Bai Suzhen and Greenie attempt to rescue Xu Xian from Fa Hai. They enlist shrimp and crabs and krakens. Fa Hai calls upon the spirits of Heaven including General Wei Tuo. Childbirth.

The Temple Fight

The crabs were in the back, saving the townspeople from drowning. The shrimp and the turtles were in the lead, holding spears and swords. Krackens, crustaceans, mollusks, clams and fish pushed forward, surrounding the Golden Temple. Xu Xian was inside that Temple and even if he broke his oaths to avoid Fa Hai, Bai Suzhen believed that he had meant no harm.

"Why don't we just go back to Mount Emei? You chose a worthless man. We should live on the mountain and leave these people alone."

"He is my husband."

"He betrayed you."

"He left you pregnant alone to pursue a life of bowing to donkey headed monks."

Finally Greenie stopped fighting. And Xu Xian was in the Golden Temple with the monk in the golden cassock, enjoying the offerings left behind by the gullible and pure. The waters rose up to the mountaintop. The eels flashed their tails and ate from the rocks.

The waters rose and the monks shouted and Fa Hai went out and the waters receded for he was the holy Fa Hai who had recited the sutras and the scriptures. He could recite all of the wisdom in a space of an hour. Fa Hai came out and shouted to the army to leave. For a second it looked like they would go.
