Escape to Nowhere
“Hello?”
“Hi.”
“Hello.”
“Hi. It's me.”
“Paul?”
"How are you?"
“What do you want?”
“What the hell?”
“You never call unless you want something.”
“Can't I just call?”
“You're my little brother.”
“Little brothers are always spoiled?”
“You got it.”
“How are you?”
“Tell me what you want and if you're still interested after I say no, you can ask again.”
“Can I come up and stay with you for a few weeks?”
“No.”
“Oh come on.”
“No.”
“It won't be for long.”
“What makes you think I would say yes?”
“You're my sister.”
“That's why the answer is no.”
“I...need you.”
“Say that again?”
“I need you.”
“What did you do?”
“Nothing.”
“What did you do?”
“I told you. Nothing.”
“So why are you trying to escape Minneapolis?”
“There's a girl.”
“Did you knock her up.”
“No.”
“Did you beat her up.”
“No! What do you think I am?”
“Did you rape her?”
“No. What the hell?”
“What happened?”
“She gave me stolen goods. It got weird.”
“Is she's a stalker? Is she going to come up here?”
“Yes! Yes! Exactly! I mean no, I don't think she is going to follow me.”
